Creative Fashion Lab

The Young Designers Symposium is a time-limited creative program designed for aspiring fashion designers and creatives who already have their own experience and want to develop their creative approach in contact with real practice.

During an intensive program lasting approximately 3–6 weeks, participants work on their own collection or an original work on a pre-defined theme. They have access to a professionally equipped studio in the center of Prague and the possibility of ongoing consultations with Ivana Follová.

The program is built on independent creation, sharing of experiences, and professional guidance. It is not about traditional teaching, but about creating a space in which young creators can develop their own style, gain contact with practice, and confront their work with a professional environment.

The symposium also includes meetings with experts from the fields of fashion, styling and the cultural scene, consultations on emerging collections and the opportunity for mutual networking.

The result of the program is a public presentation of the resulting collections in the form of a fashion performance, show or installation. The final outputs are assessed by a professional jury consisting of personalities from the fashion and cultural scene.

The project also creates space for the emergence of new contacts, professional experiences, and future cooperation between the emerging generation of designers and established figures in the field.
